Spring Fair on the Square

Saturday, May 9th, 2026: 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Fair on the Square, a one-day event unlike any other, has been a tradition for over 30 years. Thousands of visitors descend upon the downtown square to participate in the festivities and see some of the most elegant handmade crafts. Nearly 200 crafters, artists, and photographers participate to sell and exhibit original products. A wide variety of food vendors will be cooking and serving their delicious lunches and treats, making sure you have the energy to explore the fair and our beautiful town. The Baraboo Farmers Market will also be there to provide locally grown produce for your cooking needs.

The Fair on the Square also provides a stage for some of the most talented performers in the community. Musicians, face painters, jugglers and more! Our community groups also set up a variety of activities to partake in. So whether you’re a 1 year old or 100 years young, there is something for everyone at the Fair on the Square.

Interested in signing up for the Fair on the Square? This year, we are launching a new vendor platform designed to make the application process easier and to keep you updated on your application status every step of the way! Vendors will be asked to create a profile that will act as their application for Downtown Baraboo, Inc. events. Below is the link to get to the main page to set up your profile. Jury Fee – $25

Single booth – 10’x10′ – $125

Single booth w/electricity – 10’x10′ – $135

Double booth – 10’x20′ – $225

Double booth w/ electricity – 10’x20′ – $235

NOTIFICATIONS OF ACCEPTED/WAITLISTED/DENIED APPLICATIONS WILL BE SENT OUT CLOSER TO THE END OF THE APPLICATION PERIOD.
