Celebrate a Victorian Christmas in Baraboo's festive downtown, Saturday, December 10, 2011. Strolling carolers, horse drawn wagon rides (Saturday from 11am to 2pm), Santa in lobby of the Al. Ringling Theater, shopping in century-old specialty shops and dining in marvelous restaurants, taverns and cafes make for a memorable holiday excursion.

The Victorian Christmas celebration continues with an elegant Holiday display at the Sauk Country Historical Society Museums' Jacob Van Orden Mansion, at 531 4th Ave, located two blocks from downtown. All rooms in the historic mansion are decked out in Christmas fare, with treats served from Noon to 8 pm.

The Very Merry Holiday Fair, located in the Baraboo Arts Building on Water Steet, offers shoppers another way to enjoy the downtown area with choices of arts, crafts, authors, and food, 9 am to 4 pm.
